They are the two battle styles this set introduced, one for each form of Urshifu. Single Strike cards hit hard and aim to Knock Out in one blow, while Rapid Strike cards use quicker, more technical attacks. Each style has its own Pokemon, Trainers and Energy, and Chilling Reign added more of both.
Six. Empoleon V (146), Single Strike Urshifu V (151), Rapid Strike Urshifu V (153) and Tyranitar V (155) sit in the main numbering, and the Single Strike Urshifu VMAX (168) and Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX (170) are secret rares. They were the first alternate arts since Cosmic Eclipse in November 2019. On Oct 29, 2026, Tyranitar led at $229.50 in market prices and the Single Strike Urshifu VMAX was $30.33.
No one has published a large pack-opening study for Battle Styles, so any exact odds you see online are community estimates or counts from a few boxes. The alternate arts are among the hardest cards to pull, and a handful of boxes can't tell you the odds of one card like Tyranitar. If you want one card, buying the single usually costs far less than opening packs. A sealed box was $289.72 on Oct 29, 2026; see the Battle Styles sealed product page for today's prices.
