The Time of Battle (OP16) released June 12, 2026 in English, following the Japanese release on May 30, 2026, and brings the Paramount War — the Marineford arc — back to the One Piece Card Game for the first time since OP-02. Six new Leaders cover every major faction in the battle: Portgas D. Ace, Monkey D. Luffy, Buggy, Sengoku, Yamato, and Marshall D. Teach. The set's signature feature is its rarity structure — for the first time, a single mainline set includes three Manga Rares instead of the usual one, featuring the three Marine Admirals Kuzan, Sakazuki, and Borsalino, designed to connect visually as one scene from the battle. Secret Rares of Ace and Blackbeard round out the top chase cards, alongside the new Prisoner of Impel Down card, which breaks the game's standard four-copy deck limit.
