These Terms cover tcgwatchtower.com, the portfolio tracker and our Discord. By using any of them, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use TCG Watchtower.
What TCG Watchtower is
TCG Watchtower ("we", "us", "our") runs tcgwatchtower.com and its Discord community. We offer card lists and prices for Pokémon, One Piece and Riftbound, a free portfolio tracker for your collection, a public leaderboard, and restock alerts for sealed products.
TCG Watchtower is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Bandai, Riot Games, TCGplayer, any retailer, or any other brand mentioned on our site.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it, to create an account or join our Discord. By using TCG Watchtower you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Accounts and usernames
You can sign in with Discord, Google or a link sent to your email. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep access to those logins secure.
Usernames must not impersonate someone else or be offensive. We may change or remove a username that breaks this rule.
You can delete your account and all of its data at any time: in the portfolio, go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete my data. You can download a copy of your collection from the same place first.
Your data and public profile
The collection you track belongs to you. We store it so we can show it to you, sync it across your devices and calculate its value.
If you make your profile public or join the leaderboard, your username, collection value and the cards you choose to show are visible to anyone. You can turn this off at any time. By making it public, you let us display that information on our site for as long as it stays public.
We recommend keeping your own backup with the CSV export from time to time. We work hard to keep your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be lost.
Rules
When using TCG Watchtower, you agree not to:
- Scrape, bulk download or resell our prices, card data or images, or call our API from your own scripts or apps
- Create accounts automatically, or use more than one account to get around limits
- Try to get into another person's account or data, or interfere with how the site works
- Use our restock alerts to run bots that bulk-buy products for resale
- Spam, harass or abuse other members, or share false or misleading information
- Break Discord's rules or the law
We may suspend or remove anyone who breaks these rules, with or without notice.
Accuracy
Prices on TCG Watchtower come from third-party market data, mainly TCGplayer sales and listings, and are updated about once a day. They are estimates of what cards are selling for, not offers to buy or sell, and they can be out of date or wrong.
Portfolio values, profit and loss figures and grading estimates are for information only. They are not financial advice. Check current prices yourself before buying, selling or grading anything.
Restock alerts depend on retailer websites. We can't promise that every restock will be caught, that alert details will still be accurate when you act on them, or that the service will always be available. We are not responsible if a product sells out before you can buy it.
Free features, Pro and the waitlist
The portfolio, card lists, daily prices and restock alerts are free. We plan to offer an optional paid subscription, TCG Watchtower Pro, with extra features. Pro is not on sale yet.
Pro waitlist. Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't commit you to buying anything. We'll use the email on your account to tell you when Pro opens. You can leave the list at any time from the Pro section of the portfolio.
Founder offer. The first 100 people to join the waitlist with a confirmed email, counted in the order they joined, can get their first year of Pro for $14.99 and a Founding Pro badge on their profile. After the first year, Pro renews at the regular price shown at checkout. The email we send when Pro opens will say how long the offer is held for. One founder offer per person.
When Pro goes on sale. The price, billing period and refund terms will be shown before you pay, and you will never be charged without your clear consent. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. We will update these Terms with full billing details before Pro goes on sale.
We may add, change or remove features, free or paid. If we change the price of a subscription you already have, we'll tell you before it renews.
What we send
We send account emails you need, like sign-in links, email confirmations, alerts you set up and the Pro waitlist messages you asked for. News and new set emails are only sent if you opt in, and every one has an unsubscribe link.
Ownership
TCG Watchtower's branding, site design, code and original content belong to us. You may not copy, redistribute or build on them without our written permission.
Pokémon, One Piece, Riftbound, card names, card images and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify cards and products.
Liability
TCG Watchtower is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages from using, or not being able to use, the service.
This includes missed restocks, buying, selling or grading decisions made using our prices, lost collection data, and downtime. Where the law doesn't allow us to exclude liability, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if anything.
Termination
You can stop using TCG Watchtower, delete your account or leave our Discord at any time.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. We may also shut down the service or part of it, and we will give reasonable notice where we can. If we ever close a paid service early, we will refund the unused part of your subscription.
Updates
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for you, we'll announce it on the site or in our Discord, and by email if it affects something you pay for. Using TCG Watchtower after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we will try to fix it in good faith before anyone takes formal action.
